Password Administration

It happens. We forget our passwords, we give you a password you can't remember, and if you are really good, you change the password every so often. This form allows you to get on with it. We try to keep the form simple, but you may receive first an enquiry along the lines of the secret question you provided when subscribing. Sometimes it is easier also for us to ring you.

Now type your old password, and the new one you want to use instead. We ask you to type each twice to make sure that we make no mistakes. Be sure to type this very carefully If you mistype either, we will have to come back to you.

You should change your password every so often. We recommend that you change it every six months.

Choosing a new passwordPlease be careful when choosing a new password. It should perhaps be something you can remember, but never something so obvious that somebody else could guess. Choosing a password is not too difficult. We recommend that you choose any plain English word of at least six characters and add, at a random point, a random letter or number. An alternative is a five character word with two random letters or characters. Examples are 'let5ter' or 't2wiuce' (Do not use these).

  1. We reserve the right to reject your choice of password, and
  2. to change it at our discretion.
  3. We may write to you asking your secret question if this seems necessary
  4. Under out terms and conditions:
    1. It is your responsibility to safeguard your password.
    2. You are personally responsible for all use of your password. If two people use a password allocated to one person etc, the nominated subscriber will be liable to pay any increased or additional subscription fees.
